My yoga journey began in 2004 when I was looking for a way to exercise. But the ‘exercise’ quickly turned into a form of stress relief and self-awareness. I never knew something so simple as my breath could guide me to something so profound. Over 15 years later and I’m still learning the magnitude of this 5,000 year old practice. Yoga has helped me to understand the world around me, balance my life as a mom, process childhood trauma, be one with my body, and feel fully alive.
In addition to the qualifications below, I’ve completed several trainings: Vinyasa Yoga with Gina Wasserlein-Peto, Preventing and Managing Yoga Injuries with Jason Crandell, Foundations of Yoga for Mental Health with Ashley Turner, Yoga for Self Regulation and Trauma with Hala Kouri, and many others. I will always be a student of yoga.
